Holistic Health Tips can be divided under the following -

PHYSICAL HOLISTIC HEALTH TIPS:

-Don't count calories. Just eat right. Eat a balanced diet that keeps your body fluids within a normal range. With diet as with many other choices in life, the middle path is often the best one

-Eat nutritious food at regular times

-Have less of oil, sugar, salt, caffeine, and calories

-Avoid processed, stale, preserved, supplemented and un-hygienically cooked food

-Eat more of steamed, baked and roasted foods

-Eat a wide variety of foods and vary your diet each day

-Eat more of organic foods

-To eat right, plan your meals and snacks in advance; do not go shopping for food on an empty stomach

-Drink lots of water and juices

-Get the environment where you live and work clean and clutter-free

-Get some exercise each day outside in the sunshine whenever weather permits. Get a balanced amount based on your skin color, and the intensity of sunshine in your place of stay


-Get plenty of fresh air. Let some fresh air into your houses, offices, cars and life

-Watch your posture. Muscles that are contracted and unbalanced are a major cause of pain

-Practice yoga and breathing exercises. In office take a break every hour for 2 minutes to stretch and breathe deep

-If you are having aches and pains first try trigger point therapy and/or acupressure, rather than gulping pain killers

-Do not smoke

-Avoid Alcohol

-Get enough rest and sleep according to your body needs

-Use more of natural, unscented health, beauty and cleaning products. The less toxins and irritants your body is exposed to, the less it has to detoxify

-Use a proper deodorant without aluminum

-Avoid harsh chemicals for washing clothes


PSYCHOLOGICAL HOLISTIC HEALTH TIPS:

-Stop worrying

-Practice relaxation techniques like progressive muscle relaxation etc.

-Have a positive attitude towards life

-Be assertive not aggressive

-Shun anger and hostility


-Do assertive visualization

-Do not suppress your feelings express them assertively

-Be proactive in maintaining relationship

-Spend as much time with your family members as possible
